is hiring for the Meter Services Supervisor position in the Albany, GA
area. Our Meter Services Supervisor position is ideal for individuals
with experience in the smart metering field or similar line of work. The
Meter Services Supervisor is responsible for interfacing with customers,
must hold a knowledge of industry standards, interface with management
from within and outside of the department, and lead special initiatives
in the meter services department.Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifies, investigates, and resolves issues ensuring deadlines are
met. Maintains warehouse and meter inventory. Schedules and deploys work
daily for field techs. Audits field work weekly to make sure quality
standards are met. Validates daily work completed by employees through
work order system. Performs or scheduled repairs or preventive
maintenance of vehicles and other equipment. Works with Manager and
other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities
for cost reduction. Partners with customers, managers, utility, or other
personnel to ensure customer satisfaction with ongoing communication,
cooperative problem management, and regular feedback on goal achievement
or obstacles experienced. Explains and demonstrates work tasks to new
workers or assign training tasks to experienced workers. Drives vehicles
or equipment to complete work assignments or to assist workers.
Interprets transportation regulations, safety regulations, or company
policies and procedures for workers. Prepares, compiles, and submits
reports on work activities, operations, productivity, or work-related
accidents. Resolves worker problems or collaborate with employees to
assist in problem resolution. Recommends or implements personnel
actions, such as employee selection, evaluation, rewards, or
disciplinary actions. Recommends and implements measures to improve
worker motivation, equipment performance, wo rk methods, or customer
services. Requisitions needed personnel, supplies, equipment, parts, or
repair services. Assists workers in tasks, as needed, such as meter
installation and site repairs. Performs other duties as
assigned.Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older High School
Diploma or GED 2 years management experience within the smart meter
deployment space or related experience directly in water meter plumbing
and installation Strong computer skills Strong communication skills
Demonstrated leadership qualitiesPreferred Qualifications: Project
