Job Title: Land Surveyor Crew Chief
Job Description
Our Lehigh Valley, PA office is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor Crew Chief. In this position, you will be expected to accurately and diligently perform all aspects of field surveying including Topographical Surveys, Utility Surveys, Preliminary Boundary Analysis/Stake Out, Construction Stakeout, and As-Built surveys. You will utilize Trimble/Leica/Spectre robotic total stations, data collectors, Carlson Survey format collectors, auto-levels, GPS RTK Units, wireless communications, 3D Laser Scanners, and more. Additionally, you will conduct calculations and sketches in the field and office, download and check data, ensure safety protocols are met, plan field activities, and represent the firm positively. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Hard Skills
2-5 years experience
High School Diploma with math and computer skills
Proficient field coding for field to finish auto linework
Ability to complete additional certifications
Valid driver’s license
Experience with Trimble/Leica/Spectre robotic total stations, data collectors, Carlson Survey format collectors, auto-levels, GPS RTK Units, wireless communications, and 3D Laser Scanners
Soft Skills
Ability to work overtime as needed
Willingness to travel with overnight stays if required
Represent the firm in a positive way
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
