The Training Operations Manager will support the implementation, design, and delivery of training and engagement programs that engage and develop high-performing personnel who are fully capable of meeting and exceeding their work requirements. In this role the Training Operations Manager will partner with Executive leadership and have responsibility for identifying and assessing training needs, creating tailored training plans, and implementing various training methods to enhance employees’ and managements’ skills and performance, monitoring training program effectiveness, managing budgets, and stay updated on training trends.

Essential Functions:

  • Represent BlueHalo’s core values of integrity, and excellence. People First Mission Always

  • Support the implementation of HaloU Training Academy and Leadership Academy programs and Initiatives as directed by head of HR and the Executive Leadership Team

  • Administer and maintain HaloU programs, such as, but not limited, to Tuition Reimbursement, Professional Development and Compliance training

  • Maintain and administer the learning management system (LMS) tool in coordination with the HRIS teamUse deep knowledge of adult learning and training methods to provide guidance on the use of learning and development to improve workforce engagement and retention

  • Advise teams on training-related matters, including emergent issues and new practices/requirements.

  • Be a company-wide advocate and champion on best practices in the field of training and development, e.g., using data to guide training selection and implementation, training modalities and formats, learner records and performance synergies

  • Analyzes the effectiveness of company training in achieving objectives and makes improvements.

  • Responsible for the delivery of classroom, workshops, online webinars, and computer-based employee training.

  • Conduct needs analysis and governance activities to design or develop suitable training solutions to support ongoing operational needs and workforce development requirements.

  • Directly assist with the identification and development of improvement opportunities and other growth or best-practice initiatives nationally

  • Lead and/or facilitate HaloU Training and Leadership classes, modules, lunch and learn’s, etc in-person, virtual, or recorded as needed.

  • Support other non-HaloU training initiatives in both the Operations and Functional teams by leading and/or facilitating classes, modules, lunch and learns, etc. through multiple delivery mechanisms including in-person, virtual, or recorded as needed.

  • Develop and maintain partner relationships with outside training vendors.Use effective leadership, communication and facilitation skills to support personnel to achieve the required standards of performance and compliance against program requirements.

  • Utilize learning analysis techniques to understand desired learning outcomes and negotiate the proper learning solution for the identified need.

  • Evaluate current practices, procedures and service arrangements and lead the implementation of improvements and/or propose viable solutions to achieve efficiency gains.

  • Maintain highly accurate documentation/record-keeping in support of training outcomes. Provide accurate reporting out to the organization.

  • Build strong positive relationships providing a positive impact on stakeholder/team performance.

  • Support any other operational or account management activities, as required.

You’re required to have this

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 6 years in the learning and development field

  • 6 years practical experience with learning management systems (LMS) administration.

  • 3-4 years Working knowledge of adult learning theory, curricula, mixed-mode training delivery, and instructional design.

  • 5 years practical working experience with online, virtual, and classroom training and workplace coaching.

  • Knowledge of needs analysis, assessments, design, and training program evaluations.

  • Knowledge of learning and development concepts, solutions, frameworks, and methodologies.

  • Ability to operate collaboratively at all levels of the organization in a highly technical environment.

  • Understanding of accessibility requirements.

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • Effective client orientation and results driven.

  • Strong root cause analysis and problem resolution skills.

  • Attuned to quality and best practices.

  • Able to work independently under a self-initiated mindset.

  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.

    Working Conditions:

  • Able to work flexible hours (including after hours) to meet demands of globally dispersed team.

  • Able to work evenings, as required, to ensure the successful completion of training deliverables.

  • Travel domestic and international, as required.
