P(3) - Data EngineerCurrent Need:We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in USON Impact Analytics.Position Summary:Responsible for innovating and implementing technical solutions which support The US Oncology Network strategic objectives including Care Transformation, Network growth initiatives, quality metric reporting and other Network related priorities. Provide technical expertise for data-driven analytics and ML strategy for US Oncology. Serves as data engineer by implementing technical solutions to solve relatively complex data needs of The Network.Key Responsibilities:Implement the data strategy of US Oncology analytics by contributing to the enhancement of existing products and process.Engaged in the architectural discussions, implementation, and execution of newly migrated snowflake-based cloud-based database process and projects that supports evolving data and analytics landscapes for The NetworkResponsible for creating/maintaining custom backend services to facilitate data and analytics products including using SQL, cloud development APIs, tools, and services.Identify. design, refactor important process from the legacy system and implement them in the new cloud-based database using robust and best practices.Develop and maintain callable data pipeline, data integration, and data quality frameworks to support growing data complexityCreate and analyze and develop reliable and secure back-end functionalities to power the data-driven products.Partner with cross-functional teams to implement the technical solutions to support the products for the greater analytics organizationCreate data product documentation including robust data dictionaries and metadata taggingAssist Data Analysts within the organization to understand the data model to support patient care and practice successMinimum Requirements4+ years of relevant experienceCritical Skills3+ years of experience with databases preferably with Snowflake.3+ years of experience with ETL automation, Snowflake SQL, RDMS.3+ years of relevant development experience in object-oriented programming (Python) in an agile methodology3+ years of experience with systems like Linux/ADLS/sFTP and developing data ingestion pipeline for flat files and using APIs3+ years of relevant with various application architectures (Cloud Architecture, Modular)2+ Proficiency in technologies/tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Airflow for implementing scalable data transformation infrastructure.2+ years of experience with DevOps activities for deploying applications and databases using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity working with EHR or healthcare data or other complex data setsAdditional Knowledge & SkillsFamiliarity with the Machine Learning Engineering and readiness to apply software engineering rigor and best practices to machine learning, including CI/CD, automation, etc.Working knowledge of report/dashboard development, data/report automation, self-service capabilities, data design, and integration, or data quality and governance preferredExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsFamiliarity with development tools such as JIRA, Git/BitBucket, ConfluenceOncology and value-based care experience is a plusCareer Level - IC - Professional - P3At McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
