Key duties and responsibilities include managing technical projects, identifying improvement areas, develop new operating standards, reporting to senior executives and assisting in technology acquisitions to achieve Visa\'s strategic architectural goals. In addition, you will be also responsible for assisting with planning, reporting, and budgeting. While negotiating with management on project prioritization and scope, you will ensure that the long-term vision and strategy can be met.ResponsibilitiesInnovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural design and engineering work as necessary to maximize efficiencyLead in planning and execution of the Value Added Services (VAS) organizations yearly HackathonLead the process of documentation and assessment of the VAS orgs platform readiness (premised around specific attributes)Coordinate and manage architectural initiativesCoordinate with architects in estimating architecture projects and manage budgetMonitor progress of all architecture projects in compliance with plans and deadlinesEngage, collaborate and negotiate with management on any issues and risks associated with Architecture initiatives.Ensure a strong, team-oriented working relationships across ll the stakeholders who interface with Architecture OpsSuccessfully manage project expectations, clarify roles and responsibilities when neededLiaison with cross-functional teams within and outside of VASEnsure relevant and timely communication to stakeholders at all levels including senior executivesRecommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state-of-the-art practicesLead with a continuous improvement mentality, and provide metrics to show the realizationAssist regulatory authorities in compliance activitiesAssist potential acquisitions by researching and analyzing associated technologyMentor junior program managers in achieving their career goals including coaching to help promote professional growthOversee recruitment efforts to staff Architecture Operations team as needed and provide management supportThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
