team is responsible for building and protecting the College Board
reputation, overseeing organization\'s communications efforts, and
growing the organization\'s three highest priority areas: AP, SAT Suite,
and BigFuture, which are designed to increase educational access and
opportunity for all students. We are a close knit, dedicated team with a
track record of success in promoting the work of the College Board to a
variety of audiences, including students, parents, educators,
policymakers, the media, member organizations, and staff.About the
OpportunityAs the Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be integral in
ensuring the quality and accuracy of work across our critical and
growing Growth Optimization function. Growth Optimization is responsible
for web analytics development, tag management, organic search
optimization, technical SEO enablement, A/B testing, internal site
search, and additional digital marketing foundational actions that
enable marketers across the organization. Quality assurance for this
team is critical. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible
for validating data collection prior to publishing, fixing errors, and
finding opportunities for optimization.In this role, you will:Assess &
Monitor (50%) * Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and
testing for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables
* Write and review code * Write test scripts * Ensure that standards,
privacy policy, and security regulations are observed * Find
opportunities to automate QA and make recommendations for process
improvement * Develop improved standards for production and design, and
create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines *
Investigate reports of quality issues and ensure resolution in
accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirementsDocument &
Communicate (50%) * Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain
problem logs, and report issues to managers and product developers *
Foresee challenges and provide solutions that have demonstrable results,
working with Growth Optimization and Technology teams to implement your
solutions * Develop or update procedures for capture, investigation,
and documentation of product complaints * Maintain complaint and
nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems,
including root-cause analysis, reporting, and corrective actions *
Coordinate remediation work with other College Board teamsAbout YouYou
have: * 2-4 years experience with Quality Assurance, proficiency with
technical skills leading to writing effective testing scripts. * Strong
organization and prioritization skills and the proven ability to move
forward multiple projects in concert, both independently and as a member
of the team with excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Ability
to work effectively with different people in technical and marketing
fields * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
report writing and presenting remotely and in-person to groups of 15 or
more * Proficiency with major web analytics tools, experience in Adobe
Analytics is preferred * A passion for supporting educational and
career opportunities for millions of students * Willingness to travel
2-3 times per year or \< 10% for in-person meetings/gatherings * Deep
knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools * Superb
computer skills, including database management * Excellent analytical,
problem-solving, and decision-making skills * Proficiency in best
practices for testing, version control, and defect management *
Preferred skills and qualifications * Expertise with javascript and the
DOMTest harness software experience a plus * Bachelor\'s degree (or
equivalent) in a relevant field * Understanding f agile/scrum
