About the PositionWe are seeking a Senior Landscape Architect/Project
Manager to join our growing PLACE (Planning, Landscape Architecture,
Civil Engineering team in our Atlanta, Georgia office. The ideal
candidate possesses a minimum of eight years of related experience
focused on detailed landscape and hardscape design on a variety of
public and private projects. The successful candidate would help grow
and develop our PLACE team in the Atlanta office, mentoring junior
staff, and managing various projects. As part of PLACE\'s leadership
team, the successful candidate would be interface with clients, pursue
opportunities, serve as a thought leader, and help Pond\'s brand in the

candidate would be an integral part of our growing team and would have
the opportunity to engage across markets and geographies.Knowledge and
Experience: * Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience managing financial health of projects including budgeting
time and invoicing projects. * Ability to manage and mentor junior
staff regarding design questions as well as career development. *
Ability to create and develop construction plans including hardscape and
landscape designs with associated erosion control, tree protection,
grading and drainage plans. * Experience leading multi-disciplinary
teams to execute project deliverables. * Experience conducting
construction observation site visits, reviewing shop drawings, creating
punch lists and coordinating with contractors. * Knowledge of local,
state, and federal regulations associated with various site and
transportation projects.Qualifications: * Bachelor\'s or Master\'s
degree from an accredited college or university in Landscape
Architecture. * A minimum of eight years of experience working in a
design studio environment. * Georgia licensure preferred with the
ability to be licensed within six months. Licensure in other states
desirable. * Experience working on multiple aspects of projects with
emphasis on leading project teams and reviewing technical plan drawings
and construction documentation. * Ability to oversee quality control of
design processes and procedures. * Desire and ability to oversee junior
staff through education and mentorship of design processes and technical
execution. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and
Microsoft Office Suite required. Proficiency in Civil3D, ArcGIS,
SketchUp, Rhino, and/or Lumion preferred. * Ability to write technical
proposals and help prepare proposal responses. * Strong verbal and
written communication skills. * Ability to work well within a team
environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to
produce high quality work. * Ability to manage budgets and invoice
clients. * Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally. *
Ability to grow the PLACE team\'s presence in the Atlanta metro r gion
