More about the role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Mechanical
Engineering Intern onsite in Aurora, CO, from February 3 - May 16, 2025
(40 hours per week). Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of
Signify, the world leader in lighting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new lighting products and
support all technical aspects of the products in our portfolio.
Conduct mechanical and electrical testing to ensure product reliability and
safety.
Validate electrical components, such as drivers and sensors, to ensure
compliance with industry standards.
Validate multiple components into a cohesive product design
Own the laboratory testing environment to troubleshoot and resolve technical
issues as they arise and during the course of product development and
maintenance.
More about you

experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:
A current student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical
engineering, or related
Deep technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Experience working with electrical testing equipment including
thermocouples, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Experience with wiring diagrams and schematics
Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communicator and
collaborator

Pay Range:$23 - $31 per hour (based on year of study and bachelor's
or master's program)
