_Essential Functions:_ · Statistical Analysis: Applying advanced data science methods to analyze public health data.* · *Data Collection and Management: Designing and managing large-scale data collection systems. · Epidemiological Modeling: Developing models to understand disease spread and health trends. · Health Informatics: Integrating data from various health sources for analysis (e.g., federated learning) Predictive Analytics: Forecasting public health outcomes and resource needs. · Data Interpretation: Translating complex data into actionable public health insights. Education:A Ph.D. degree in a quantitative public health field such as epidemiology, health informatics, population health sciences, environmental health sciences, or a closely related area is required. Experience: Experience in cleaning and analyzing large-scale real-world data, such as Medicare claims, electronic health records, and environmental data, is preferred. Candidates should have the ability to conduct independent quantitative public health research using advanced data science methods. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Patience and hard working · Knowledge in quantitative public health and epidemiology. · Excellent writing skills · Strong ability and interest of applying existing data science methods, such as causal inference, machine learning, federated learning, to analyze large-scale data. · Excellent interpersonal skills, including a positive and professional orientation towards faculty, staff, university officials, partner organizations, and other stakeholders.
