Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for an Interface Manager (SCADA) for our project team.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Management of complex interfaces (IFM) and requirements (RM) for international railway turnkey projects (Metro, Tram, High Speed) with responsibility for results

  • Design and implementation of interface and requirements management plans for projects on own authority

  • Evaluation of interfaces by interface management, change management and documentation management

  • Creation of reports for the project manager on the compliance status

  • Coordination of system integration within mobility projects regarding interfaces between all participants

  • Technical supervision and coordination of subsystems in relation to interface management

  • Identification and documentation of all contractual as well as system and process-related requirements

  • Cooperation with subsystems on responsibilities and other attributes of contractual requirements to insure continuous traceability

  • Design of instructions for requirements documents and organisation of trainings (e.g. for the RM-tool DOORS)

  • Identification and clarification of requirements processes, responsibilities and structures for RM-tool DOORS in cooperation with subsystems involved to ensure continuous traceability

  • Supervision and evaluation of contractual requirements traceability’s according to the V-model using the RM-tools with respect to EN 50126 and in cooperation with subsystems

  • Creation of verification documentation for in-house system acceptance

Use your skills to move the world forward

  • University Degree or higher in Engineering or Physics, preferably with railway‑specific specialisation

  • Extensive professional experience in railway transportation systems, ideally in the systems business, with the focus on interface and requirements management

  • Work experience as team member in international projects

  • Knowledge of rail systems (Metro, Tram, High Speed), platforms, components and subsystems

  • Knowledge of relevant IT-systems and tool (e.g., Excel, DOORS, MS-Office)

  • Reading and understanding of contractual technical requirements

  • Knowledge of project management principles for project realisation and execution including configuration- and claim management

  • Technical team leadership experience desirable

  • Intercultural sensitivity

  • Conflict management

  • Good knowledge of English

  • Excellent communication abilities combined with strong interpersonal skills

  • High level of customer and quality orientation together with strong abilities in consulting and implementation
