The Senior Accountant handles a wide range of tasks, including financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every single day
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Requirements
Account reconciliation experience
Knowledge of financial reporting
Month end closings experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are required, or in process of CPA
Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Skilled with ERP systems
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Able to manage time well
