directly with operations to support production needs around production
control and planning of machines in their designated area of
responsibility. Responsibilities will cover functions related to
coordinating a seamless production flow in relation to raw materials,
work in process material, and through to finish goods transfer of
material.Description of Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafety:Support
Southwire\'s Culture of Zero by demonstrating Safe and Quality conscious
work habitsUse tools properly and shows a bias for action.Turn in safety
touch point and making connection with operators.Human
Capital:Coordinate training activities for new hires, they can
supplement training and provide 30/60/90 progress feedback to
Supervisor.Provide hands-on assistance in trouble shooting and
eliminating process issues.Provide hands-on assistance in support of
day-to-day operations.Provide hands-on assistance in area of cost
reduction- areas such as: dimensional control, manufacturing methods,
etc.DHP:Actively participate in the DHP process and be capable of
conducting cell level huddles as needed.Coordinate with support staff to
assist in resolving problems as needed.Verify hour-by-hour production
rates. Any other activities as directed by the Plant
LeadershipQualifications and Experience RequirementsExhibits good
decision-making and analytical problem-solving abilities.Able to
influence and train others in a respectful manner.Illustrates a minimum
level of communication skills (verbal and written) and knows when it is
time to escalate.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.Must
possess strong multitasking capabilities and organizational
