Job Title: EDM Machinist
Weekly Pay $26-$40/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled EDM Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Sinker and Wire EDM machines, a strong understanding of technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts. Responsibilities
Machine high-quality parts.
Read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions.
Inspect and document manufactured parts.
Ensure machinery is in good working order before each shift.
Perform machine setups for part manufacturing.
Make necessary edits to machine operations.
Conduct all necessary machine maintenance and use equipment properly.
Abide by all safety standards at all times.
Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately.
Keep all work areas clean and organized.
Maintain a high standard of quality and take pride in your work.
Be available to work the 2nd shift and for overtime as needed.
Essential Skills
7+ years of experience with Sinker and Wire EDM machines setup, operating, and programming.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
Advanced knowledge of EDM programming.
Proficiency with wire EDM, blueprint reading, EDM machine operation, machining, micrometer, and calipers.

Work Environment
The current opening is on the day shift. The work environment includes both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas. The shift hours are as follows: 1st Shift - Monday-Thursday, 6 AM-4:30 PM; Friday, 6 AM-2:30 PM. 2nd Shift - Monday-Thursday, 4 PM-2:30 AM; Friday, 2 PM-10 PM. Overtime is encouraged and available, with the current schedule being 10 hours/day Monday-Thursday, 8 hours on Friday, and optional Saturdays for both shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Park, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $46.00/hr.
