Title:Loan Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the loan officers with
administrative lending and clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as primary receptionist for Loan Officers and assist with
consumer loans.
- Oversee loan reception area.
- Greet and direct visitors applying for a loan.
- Organize loans for customer signature and loan processing; preparing
loans for booking; typing credit memos, letters and correspondence.
- Cross-selling bank products.
- Answer and direct incoming calls or relay messages, as circumstances
dictate.
- Complete clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and
scanning.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Financial organizational skills and financial information understanding.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & TRAINING:
High school diploma or GED required.
JOB-SPECIFIC SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with the public and greet customers in a friendly
and courteous manner.
- Ability to manage detailed tasks/projects with accuracy while
meeting stringent deadlines.
- Self-motivated; organized; and able to prioritize tasks.
- Must possess strong knowledge of PC programs: MS Windows, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Word.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Individuals in this position must be able to perform essential functions

This position is in an office environment within a climate-controlled
facility. There is frequent use of the telephone, computer and other
office equipment associated with this position, as well as significant
face-to-face interaction with the public. Individuals in this position
are typically seated at their personal desk for the majority of the day.

functions with general supervision and work effectively as a member of a
team and independently. The individual must be capable of working
harmoniously with diverse personalities of co-workers, staff and
customers. This position requires regular and reliable attendance and
