BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest NICU and Adult (Acute) Physical Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our Morton Plant Hospital community in Clearwater . Morton Plant Hospital provides highly technical and specialized care to more than 50,000 patients annually and works in more than 50 specialty areas.

The NICU Developmental Therapist evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for our tiniest patients based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of P hysical Therapy. This position will also be involved in providing care to our adult population when NICU census is low. Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for students and volunteers. A supervising licensed Physical Therapist may only supervise 1 permittee at any given time.

Qualifications:

Required Certifications and Licensures:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • PT (Physical Therapy)

  • Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain

  • Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary

  • And PT (Physical Therapy) within 6 months

Education:

  • Bachelor's Physical Therapy (Required)

  • Master's Physical Therapy (Preferred)

  • Doctorate Physical Therapy (Preferred)

Experience:

  • 1 year Physical Therapist (Preferred)

  • Adult Acute Care experience (Required)

  • NICU experience (Preferred)

Specific Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills

  • Computer skills appropriate to position

  • Ability to collaborate and work with a team

  • Ability to Work independently with minimal supervision

  • Organizational skills

Shift Hours: 8 hours
