Job Requirements:

  •         Must have own vehicledriver's license, and insurance.
  •         Hard-working and reliable with a great attitude and trainable
  •         Compassion for others
  •         Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  •         Open availability
  •         Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record
  •         Submit to Pre-Employment Drug Screening

     

Our caregivers provide companionship and assistance to seniors. They help with daily tasks like meal preparation, dressing, and medication reminders. Some caregivers have certifications like CNA, HHA, or PCA, but these are optional.

Caregivers with diverse backgrounds make a meaningful difference. Whether you've cared for a family member, been a full-time parent, or worked as a homemaker, your compassion and skills are invaluable for caregiving roles in various settings. If you've been a teacher, childcare worker, or volunteered at a school, we encourage you to apply. Retirees looking to give back are also welcome.

Responsibilities  

  • Providing compassionate care to seniors in the Scranton area, including assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  •  Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
  •  Supporting individuals with various needs, such as Alzheimer's and memory care, and assistance with vital signs monitoring.
  •  Performing light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and transportation as needed.
  •  Adhering to residents' rights, maintaining confidentiality, and following care plans to deliver personalized care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 -- 40 per week
