Overall responsibility of accurate and timely book closure including reporting requirements for all business units all over India
Focus and ensure implementation of process relating to Indirect taxes, primarily GST and customs
Overall responsible for internal controls, completion of statutory audit, tax audit, tax return filing & assessment and transfer pricing requirements
Understanding of Financial planning process and providing inputs to FP&A as a standard forecasting and actual tracking model
Responsible for all compliance requirement for the company – external ( taxes and statutory filings) and internal ( SOX, FCPA etc )
Responsible for continuous improvement in process efficiencies and cost savings. Drive working capital improvements.
Strong understanding of SAP . Enable / Facilitate the effective usage of SAP
Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have Total Experience in years: 8-10 years
Qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant
Background and Skills: The ideal candidate will have
o 8-10 years of experience of which at least 3 years should be in leading accounting and reporting role
o Understanding of USGAAP & IND-AS is a requirement
o Understanding of Indirect and direct tax provisions and should have hands on experience in handling these areas including transfer pricing requirements,
o Understanding of process and maintaining internal control posture
o Experience in analyzing variance analysis between Forecasting and actual and co-ordination with FP&A team.
o Capable of leading and completing statutory audits
o Strong ability to communicate with business leaders to understand requirements, expectations and value measures
