Preparation of hot/cold food products as directed by chef and cook staff.

- Prepare hot & cold food as directed by chef(s)
- Making sandwiches and salads as directed by chef(s)
- Follow proper sanitation procedures.
- Provides support to the chef(s)which involves:
- Providing project information as needed.
- Position Requirements
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Culinary education a plus.EXPERIENCE: Cooking experience in restaurant, catering and/or hotel preferred.OTHER: Sanitation Certificate required; ability to speak and understand the Spanish language
is a plus. Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB:
- Basic food prep skills including proper use of knives and other cooking equipment
- Hot food usage, preparation, cooking and storage
- Proper sanitation procedures
- Organization skills
- Diplomacy and tact
- Telephone etiquette

The hourly rate for this role is $17.72-24.80 The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
