Job Description
Maintains, performs, reviews, and schedules lab equipment calibrations - this includes HPLC, UPLC, GC, and more. Communicates directly with service engineers and Quality Laboratory management for impacted instrumentation. Identify root causes for instrumentation failures through impact assessment process with laboratory management. Receives quotes from vendors. Reviews Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification (IQ OQ PQ). Conducts instrument repairs to ensure working and efficient laboratories through trending and data analysis. Identifies instrumentation which are no longer reliable or able to be maintained. Maintains, reviews, and schedules in database.
Responsibilities
Maintain, perform, review, and schedule lab equipment calibrations (HPLC, UPLC, GC, etc.).
Communicate with service engineers and Quality Laboratory management for impacted instrumentation.
Identify root causes for instrumentation failures through impact assessment processes.
Review Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification (IQ OQ PQ).
Conduct instrument repairs to ensure efficient laboratory operations through trending and data analysis.
Identify instrumentation that is no longer reliable or maintainable.
Maintain, review, and schedule in database.
Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices.
Document analytical activities and results accurately, in a timely manner, and maintain data integrity.
Follow written analytical procedures.
Identify execution challenges of analytical methods and support troubleshooting activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science Field (preferred in Chemistry or Biochemistry).
Candidates with degrees in Biology, Microbiology, Physics, Environmental Science, or Pharmaceutical Science will also be considered.
Experience troubleshooting laboratory equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00
