SUMMARY: The Electrical Automation Technician will support, implement and execute all electrical tasks and projects. You will support all departments to ensure technical soundness in the field of electricity and automation, for projects and maintenance activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, implement and maintain electrical systems and all associated equipment.Maintain all documentation, including blueprints, schematics, sketches, drawings, calculations, and cost estimates.Conduct inspections and tests on electrical systems.Oversee and perform preventive maintenance.Ensure at all times the technical integrity and performance of the Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation systems.Available for occasional travel for industrialization of processes in factories.Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of planned and unplanned maintenance.Demonstrate an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma with additional education in a technical school preferred.Ability to perform electrical, instrumentation, and control wiring and installations.Install, troubleshoot and maintain power distribution systems and controls.Possess detailed knowledge of the National Electric Code.Understanding of PLC and PC-based control systems and their programming.Ability to utilize a PC to analyze and troubleshoot ladder logic in PLC systems.Working knowledge of the following areas: nomenclature of all assigned equipment; solid state circuitry, electrical-mechanical devices, transmission systems, interface units, AC/DC motors, wiring diagrams, computers and inspection and digital devices.Wear all PPE and ARC Flash gear as required.Ability to effectively communicate with management, coworkers, customers and distributor representatives.Focus on customer needs and satisfaction.Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and accept new ideas and changing initiatives.This company offers excellent pay and benefits.Full-time employee Day 1!Health insurance plans - Medical, Dental and VisionLife Insurance401kPersonal Time Off and Paid HolidaysPaid HolidaysWhat\'s next?This is an immediate need!
