What you'll do

  • The Analyst/Senior Analyst Sales Operations is responsible for analyzing and evaluating sales performance measures and generating reporting, actionable insights, and presentations for AA and JB Partners Leadership. Analysis will include:

  • Identifying performance trends and highlighting potential market issues and strategies to better American’s position in the marketplace;

  • Reporting on Sales-specific levers to suggest ways to improve efficiencies and performance;

  • Creating and maintaining centralized budget for the Sales organization;

  • Working on ad hoc projects with internal (sales) and external (revenue analysis, RM) stakeholders;

  • Supporting strategy decisions through data analysis for Retailing Support team;

  • Representing Sales in the Commercial Business Cycle meetings with our international partners.

  • Analysis utilizes data extracted from various databases and tools. Strong analytical skills are required to create comprehensive performance narratives out of complex and disparate data sets.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3 years of overall work experience

  • Proficiency in SQL

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • MBA or Advanced Degree in Data Analysis preferred

  • Prior Sales, Revenue Management, or Revenue Analysis experience a plus

  • Power BI knowledge

  • Cross-teams experience and exposure to senior leadership

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Big data analytics

  • Knowledge of NDC and Commercial metrics
