Job Description

Responsible for developing and implementing information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with the organization's overall risk management strategy. This includes conducting risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to the organization's information systems, networks, and data. Requires regular monitoring and reporting of compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of potential risks and compliance requirements. Oversees the implementation of security controls and technologies to protect the organization's information assets, including data encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • risk analysis/assessment - identifying mitigating controls, evaluating efficacy, and determining residual risk

  • cloud security knowledge - azure &/or AWS specifically

  • professional presence - the ability to speak to technical and non-technical concepts to leadership, ask a leadership delegate in various discussions, etc.

Nice to have experience:

  • ServiceNow

  • Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically five or more years of relevant experience

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
