What You Will Do
We're looking for an inquisitive, energetic, and collaborative Workday Analyst to join our People Systems team! In this role, you'll play a key part in enhancing the efficiency and functionality of Workday within Trimble's dynamic work environment. You'll collaborate on a wide range of activities, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting, with experience in additional Workday modules being a strong plus.
This role focuses primarily on supporting Compensation while also contributing to global projects and configuration efforts. It's a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise, work with a talented team, and take on exciting challenges as you learn and support specific Workday modules.
Lead advanced configuration projects independently, ensuring clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and collaboration with the team when needed.
Develop and execute end-to-end test scripts, leveraging big-picture thinking to implement effective configurations within a complex, global ecosystem.
Manage global ticketing requests, including troubleshooting, PX stakeholder support, and system enhancements.
Test and validate new Workday functionality and updates during semi-annual releases.
Investigate and replicate customer issues, escalating to People Systems SMEs as necessary.
Oversee new Workday initiatives, including configuration, data uploads, and thorough testing.
Efficiently resolve HRIS issues while driving continuous improvement and tenant optimization.
Ensure seamless review, testing, and implementation of Workday release updates.
Deliver accurate, timely responses for audits, ticket requests, and general inquiries.
Support Trimble's global Workday help desk, addressing data, reporting, and access issues, and maintaining supervisory organization structures.
Create and validate EIB data loads for pay increases, acquisitions, and reorganizations, ensuring accuracy and collaborating with PX Partners and People Ops to maintain data integrity.
Accurately configure Compensation processes, including merit and equity cycles, bonus designs, job profiles, eligibility rules, validation rules, and complex calculated fields.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
5+ years of HRIS support, including 3+ years of technical Workday experience.
Skilled in creating complex Workday calculated fields, eligibility rules, and validation rules.
Experience with BIRT (a plus) and global ticketing systems for PX support.
Proven ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
Strong skills in translating business needs into clear technical requirements and documentation.
Expertise in maintaining configuration and design documentation, creating test scenarios, and communicating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Highly organized with strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Familiarity with HR policies and practices to align People Systems with organizational goals.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute to team success.
