Overview of Position:
As a Facilities Maintenance Associate (Utility) at MMS, you'll perform
mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and
preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's
manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc. This is a mid-level position designed
for those who wish to continue developing their skills and continue their
career journey in the facilities maintenance field.

Location / Hours / Compensation: Denver, CO, Full-Time, 2nd Shift
Available, Monday-Friday
The successful candidate may be asked to work weekends and overtime on a
regular basis, hours will flex as business requires. Starting wage offer
will be based on candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
To be seriously considered for this role, the successful candidate should
have the following regarding:
Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a similar role with
comparable goals and responsibilities
Education: High school diploma (or equivalent), Industrial
Maintenance Technician or similar program is not required but would be
strongly
Skills: Successful candidates have basic to mid-level mechanical and
electrical skills (including electrical maintenance, HVAC, and
mechanical repair) with the aptitude to learn advanced skills. You should
have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems; analyze information
and to make an informed decision based on that information; identify root
causes and corrective actions; adhere to all safety regulations and
policies; and actively participate in job training opportunities for career
dev
Characteristics: This position is supervised; however, the
successful candidate should have the ability to work independently or with a
team while carrying out verbal and written instructions from supervisor.
Other requirements: Must have a valid state driver's license,

Requirements
Responsibilities: Under supervision performs mid-level break-fix &
preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to observing
devices in operation to location root cause of problem; dismantling devices
to gain access to and remove defective parts; examining parts to detect
imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control
instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of
device to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry
and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machine tools. You may

Assure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
Provide inputs in CI activities-processes, results, and cost savings.
Perform carpentry and plumbing tasks.
Setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not
limited to: CNC, lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking
tools to make and repair parts.
Perform welding tasks.
