SUMMARY
Responsible for the showing and leasing of apartments in accordance with regulatory agreements and
Volunteers of America policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process applications by conducting applicant interviews, obtaining 3rd verifications as necessary, calculating income/assets/medical expenses and entering data into the property management software. Confirm that software calculated rent is accurate.
Execute applicant lease documents in accordance with Volunteers of America policy and procedure.
Assists in processing recertification’s and interim- recertification’s.
Assists in collection and posting of resident rents and utilities. Deliver rent delinquency notices.
Maintains applicant waitlist and resident files in accordance with program regulations. Conducts semi-annual waitlist updates.
Assist in compiling program required documents for annual financial audit.
Monitoring the property and resolve minor issues and escalate more serious issues in the absence of the Community Administrator.
Collaborates with Service Coordinators to enhance resident quality of life.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or its equivalent and one-year administrative/clerical office experience.
Knowledge of computer operations to include basic data entry.
Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with residents and employee
