The North Face: Designer, Accessories (Global)

What You Will Do

As a Designer on the Accessories team, you will be an integral part responsible for the design and development of performance and lifestyle gloves and headwear. This role involves supporting the Accessories Design Team in every aspect of the product creation process.

The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have excellent time management, and be able to work independently to meet crucial deadlines. You will grow in your role and skill sets to assist in industry research, partner with the Materials Team to develop innovative fabrications and trims and contribute to the creation of visual presentations. You will be an important member of the team who wears many hats and learns to anticipate the needs of the team throughout the seasonal calendar.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Bring your passion for the industry and product to our design process with elevated attention to detail and technical skills.

  • Work under the organization of the Accessories Design Manager to execute the complete design process from research through construction, tech pack, trim development, and presenting.

  • Exercise your passion for sustainable design and be proactive about creating designs that reflect that.

  • Leverage your Adobe Illustrator skills in creating technical specifications, coloring CADs, and producing other design content.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in a design-related field.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of gloves and headwear construction.

  • Expertise in Adobe Illustrator. 3D modeling and Photoshop proficiency is a plus.

  • Excellent time management and accountability.

  • Attention to detail and shows initiative. Strong problem-solving ability.

  • Proficient communication and presentation skills.

  • Knowledge of industry trends and a strong personal aesthetic.

  • Production and manufacturing knowledge is a plus.

Hiring Range :

$73,440.00 USD - $91,800.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
