DMC Primary Care Registered Dietician/CDCES - Full Time in Derry, New Hampshire

Are you a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD)? Do people describe you as being “inspiring?” If so, you may be the person we are looking for! DMC Primary Care seeks a part time RD who is licensed in the State of NH to join our Wellness team. The successful candidate will create nutrition plans that support individual patients and help them modify their etary behaviors to improve health outcomes. You will help our patients manage their chronic conditions and/or achieve healthy weight goals through educational, collaborative, and compassionate nutrition consultation. Certification as a diabetes educator (CDCES) is required.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a registered dietician (clinic setting preferred)

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in diabetes with insulin pump and CGM education.

  • Knowledge of the dietary needs of adults with medical conditions such as diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, hypertension, thyroid imbalance, cardiovascular disease, liver disease, and obesity

  • Ability to work and integrate with other patient care professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient group

  • Experience using an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system

    Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum)

  • Registered Dietitian by Academy of Food and Nutrition through Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

  • Licensed or registered by the State of New Hampshire

  • Certification as a Diabetes Educator (CDCES) required
