Job Title: Structures Mechanic - Backshop
Job Description
Aerotek is seeking to hire qualified Structures Mechanics for repair and overhaul of aircraft assemblies, including cowlings, inlets, leading edges, ailerons, and other components. The position involves working primarily on doors and horizontal stab skin panels, removing and replacing skin panels with solid rivets and hilocks, as well as reworking dents. Technicians will drill out and replace hi-loks and other blind fasteners, trim away metal material, use die grinders and DA sanders, and rework dents. No painting is required. This role involves using drills, bucking bars, rivet guns, socket wrenches, hi-lok pliers, and other tools to overhaul cowlings and maintain the production schedule of overhauled units. The first week will be dedicated to orientation and safety training, followed by regular work in the component repair shop.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Everett, Washington.
Work Environment
Component repair shop, in a large MRO. No in-hangar/on-aircraft work. Monday through Friday, with potential shifts from 5:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday to Thursday. The first week consists of ATS and customer-specific training on the day shift, between 24 and 40 hours. There is also a second shift from 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, and a potential weekend shift from 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM Friday to Monday. Overtime is available, with typical work weeks reaching up to 50 hours
