We have an opening for a Journeyman Test & Evaluation Engineer position supporting our US Army TENCAP customer to help enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence national capabilities and architectures in the Alexandria, VA area.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience

  • Strong Communication skills.

  • Experience setting up equipment and performing tests on various products and assemblies using manual, semi-automatic, and/or automated test devices.

  • Experience in test software design such as National Instruments LabView.

  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics.

  • Experience delivering priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active, DoD issued TS/SCI security clearance. A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer or technical related study (Electrical, Software, Mechanical Engineering) is preferred; however, 2-5 years of relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree.

Software/Programs Experience:

  • Experience, and at least considered an intermediate user, with office tools such Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive):

  • Review, provide comments to, and maintain test documentation to include System Evaluation Plans.

  • Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)s, Measures of Effectiveness, Measures of Performance, and test plans. Test documentation shall be prepared, Test and Evaluation Policy and be delivered.

  • Provide recommendations in planning, forecasting costs, coordinating, and executing test events.

  • Provide technical input to SAMPs to address the program's overall acquisition approach, including the test and evaluation approach for TENCAP projects.

  • Prepare test reports that document deficiencies and issues identified in the conduct of test and evaluation events.

  • Evaluate design reviews, audits, and draft quality assurance (QA) reports for T&E programs for the system being acquired.

  • Provide test documentation for test items to the test organizations.

  • Draft and provide a Safety Assessment Report.

  • Provide recommendations to ensure that T&E of all systems is planned and conducted to sufficiently stress

    the systems in representative environments.

This position is expected to be 100% on-site. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
