Women's Wellness Connection (WWC) Program Biller
As a grantee of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
(CDPHE), Salud is able to offer the Women's Wellness Connection
(WWC) Program to eligible patients for cancer prevention and early
detection. The WWC Part-Time Biller functions as a member of the Women's
Wellness Connection Program, approaches his/her tasks in a team-based
fashion, and provides support to the WWC billing component of the WWC Program.
We offer:
Starting Wage - $17.92 to $20.61 per hour
Part-Time
Monday to Friday - 8 am to Noon, or 9 am to 1 pm
4 hours max per day - 20 hrs. per week

Specific Duties:
Receives and organizes invoices and UB 1500 Forms from sub-contractors (9
facilities, 3 radiology groups and 3 pathology groups)
Inputs all data from invoices and UB 1500 Forms into Excel
Verifies patient was eligible for WWC Program in Salud's electronic medical
record (EMR)
Confirm WWC vouchers issued to the level of service(s) approved
Verifies the receipt of the appropriate Diagnostic Imaging result in Salud's
EMR according to the CPT Code on the invoice and UB 1500 Form
Cross references all facility invoices with radiology and pathology group
invoices
Verifies payments received from the CDPHE database for appropriate CPT Code
invoiced
Completes adjudication of invoices/claims to their entirety
Submits all completed WWC billing invoices for each subcontractor to Salud's
accounting department for payments to the subcontractor
Research and contacts subcontractors who sent patients a bill that were
eligible for WWC Program services
Works in conjunction with WWC Patient Navigators, Medical Providers,
Medical Assistants, Enrollment Specialists, Customer Service Associates,
and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard of
integrated healthcare
Acts as a patient advocate for our vulnerable populations by ensuring that
patients are fully informed and comfortable with their visit to Salud
Performs random audits of certain CPT Codes from the direction of the
supervisor
Adheres to all standards, protocols, and laws surrounding patient
confidentiality
Follows procedures for the electronic health records system
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED, required
Experience:
Two years of billing and/or coding in health care and an intermediate skill
set for Excel is required
Licensure:
None
Qualifications for Appointment:
Billing and Coding background required (certification not required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to relate well to co-workers and WWC approved sub-contractor facilities
