Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of data architects and engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring the successful delivery of cloud data platform projects.
Engage with clients to understand their unique data requirements, challenges, and business goals, and propose innovative cloud-based solutions.
Design scalable and secure data architectures utilizing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, and real-time streaming solutions.
Implement data integration strategies to consolidate and transform data from various sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.
Architect and deploy data analytics platforms to enable advanced business intelligence and data-driven decision-making for financial institutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging cloud technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage new tools and services for improved data management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, developers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.
Conduct technical workshops and presentations to educate clients on cloud data platform best practices and the benefits of modern data architecture.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations, such as data privacy and financial services standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture and cloud computing.
Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their respective data-related services, certifications are highly preferred.
Proficiency in designing and implementing data pipelines, data modeling, and database management systems.
Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale data platform projects within the Financial Services domain.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $113,100 to $185,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 70/30.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
