POSITION: Supplier Quality Engineer LOCATION: 2513 W Park Dr,
Gainesville, GA, DUTIES: Work on manufacturing and supplier quality.
Review supplier quality during new launch and mass production. Oversee
Supplier Production Parts Approval Process. Communicate with suppliers
regarding production parts approval process, nonconformances, and
corrective actions. Provide technical input and guidance on process
enhancements and improvements. Review and sign-off on supplier
Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) submissions. Conduct quality
studies on supplier material and Fox products for improved performance.
Provide technical guidance to internal quality inspectors, quality
technicians, quality supervisors, production, and manufacturing. Lead
problem-solving efforts for both internal and supplier nonconforming
materials. Communicate with suppliers and internal cross-functional
teams regarding nonconforming material. Assure non-conforming material
has been properly identified, contained, and dispositioned. Maintain
detailed quality documentation. Analyze Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) reports to provide internal and supplier quality Key Performance
Indicators, including scrap, nonconforming materials cost and aging,
supplier nonconformances, and supplier corrective actions. Use small
metrology tools such as microscopes, digital calipers, micrometers,
optical comparators and other related equipment. Order lab equipment and
gages.MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent in
Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering
Field. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 (Five) years of professional experience in
the job offered or in a related occupation.
