Job Summary
Terry Asphalt Materials Inc., a division of Strawser Construction Inc., provides pavement products and construction services to solve today's road and highway problems. Terry Asphalt Materials Inc. is currently seeking a Plant Administrator for our Hamilton Manufacturing Facility. Under the general supervision of the Terminal Manager; the Plant Administrator is responsible for administrative duties including: managing office operations and trucking traffic flow, create and maintain business records and reports. This role will also be responsible for early morning truck loading during our peak season which is May through October.

Performs general administrative duties
Ensure all Bill of Ladings are accurate before being submitted for processing.
Work with Sales Team and Admin Staff to ensure all customer orders are in the JWS ticketing system prior to job start
Oversee all inbound and outbound railcars into Hamilton. Manage CSX app/website
Becomes JWS expert for entering, modifying and voiding tickets.
Calculate and enter payroll in HeavyJob for all Hamilton terminal staff.
Answer dispatch cell phone at various hours
Oversee daily emulsion schedule and work closely with Trucking Lead and external trucking companies to cover all truckloads.
Ensure that all customers, drivers, and contractors on site sign in and have on all proper PPE.
Assist with truck loading during peak season, this will require a 3AM start time.
Attend and facilitate daily safety huddles.
Requirements and Qualifications
2-3 years of Plant Administration preferred
Knowledge of the construction industry a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel
Excellent Math skills, ability to learn and oversee Payroll
Excellent communication and organizational skills required
Ability to work flexible schedule during the peak season, shift differential eligible.
