Valid CDL Driver's License required.
Drives truck to destination & prepares receipts for load picked up. Delivers invoices for goods delivered.
Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
Maintains telephone contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
Loads and unloads truck.
Inspects truck equipment & supplies such as tires, tie-downs, lights, brakes, gas, oil, & water. Daily completes and files maintenance report.
Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
Develops list of prospective customers by observing business activity while driving through business territory.
Reviews orders for ideas to expand services available to present customers.
Confers with customers and company officials to resolve complaints.
Reports all accidents, near misses, and traffic stops to direct or departmental supervisor immediately.
Readily complies with all DOT required testing and training regulations.
Performs Yard/Warehouse activities when not assigned driving duties.
Participates in all required training assignments.
Displays teamwork and effort in performance of all duties.
Comply with all DOT Laws and Regulations. Preferred one-year delivery driving experience.
Forklift training and demonstrated continuing forklift operation competency required.
full-time CDL Driver for daytime Monday Friday, 7a 4p, Every other Saturday 7a-3p (May-Sept) 7a-1p (Oct-Apr).
