We are offering an opportunity for a Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent in HOBBS, New Mexico. This role is in the insurance industry and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. You will be primarily tasked with providing excellent customer service to our commercial lines clients and supporting the producers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service to commercial lines clients

• Support producers in their roles to ensure smooth operations

• Utilize MS Office and data entry systems for processing and tracking customer interactions

• Apply problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and issues

• Handle receptionist duties as required, maintaining efficient office operations

• Use basic office skills to manage and organize office workflow

• Maintain and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary

• Ensure accurate record keeping and processing of customer credit applications.

Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role

• Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly in Word and Excel

• Demonstrable basic office skills, including file management and office equipment operation

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed

• Previous experience in receptionist duties, including handling phone calls and scheduling appointments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities to handle customer inquiries and complaints

• Ability to work in a team as well as independently

• Knowledge of commercial insurance lines would be advantageous

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines

• High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
