Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to oversee billing operations, manage customer accounts, and ensure timely collection of payments. The role requires someone who thrives on accuracy, possesses strong organizational skills, and can effectively communicate with clients and internal teams. Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue invoices with precision, ensuring accurate payment application to customer accounts.

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue balances and proactively initiate collection activities.

• Address client inquiries related to billing issues and payment discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Prepare detailed accounts receivable aging reports and activity summaries for management review.

• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all accounts receivable activities.

• Analyze payment trends to recommend improvements in cash flow processes.

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting software systems where necessary.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.

• Comprehensive knowledge of billing, collections, and account reconciliation processes.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of accounting principles and best practices.

• Prior experience with commercial collections and cash applications is highly preferred.
