Job Title: Water/Wastewater Field Technician
Job Description
The Field Technician will perform fieldwork with all company product lines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing flow monitors within sewer lines, performing hydraulic calibration, collecting and reviewing data for accuracy, troubleshooting, and making repairs. Additionally, maintaining accurate records, ensuring the vehicle and equipment are safe and mechanically sound, and adhering to all safety procedures are key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
Installation of flow monitors within sewer lines
Hydraulic calibration and data collection
Review data for accuracy
Troubleshoot and repair monitors
Maintain accurate, legible, organized records in accordance with all company Quality Work Instructions
Ensure safety and mechanical soundness of vehicle and equipment
Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies/procedures
Travel and work overtime hours as required

Good mechanical and computer skills
Attention to detail
Manual dexterity
Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
Physical and cognitive ability for confined space entry in wastewater collection systems
Ability to perform rescue operations when necessary
Ability to function in a team environment
High School education/GED required; BS in environmental field or similar preferred
Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
OSHA 10-Hour Certification
Confined Space Certification
NASCO Certifications
Work Environment
Work is primarily outdoors, often in confined spaces. The typical shift is 10 hours, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The position requires adherence to safety procedures and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
