SAIC Sr. Link 16 Test Subject Matter Expert in HUNTSVILLE, Alabama

Description

SAIC is currently seeking a Senior Link 16 Subject Matter Expert in support of the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office in Huntsville, AL with the objective to provide common integrated fire control across all Army air and missile defense echelons, integrating with the joint architecture, to develop a mission command and fire control system that integrates sensors and weapons into a cohesive warfighting capability.

The selected candidate will successfully lead a small team of engineers and operators in planning, coordination, and reporting of Joint and Army Interoperability Testing (JIT/AIC) and Service Level Testing (SLT) of systems such as Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS), Air and Missile Defense Planning and Control System (AMDPCS), and/or Forward Area Air Defense Command and Control (FAAD C2).Duties also include quick-looks and post-test analysis of test data to determine requirements conformance and document discrepancies IAW MIL STDs and System Specifications.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor Degree and at least nine (9) years of related experience required; six (6) years' additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Working experience and demonstratable leadership ability with Joint Service / Agency Tactical Data Link Interoperability Military Standards testing and certification required.

  • Expert working knowledge of Army and Joint certification of tactical air defense systems and applicable military standards such as MIL-STDs 6016, 6011, 6018, 6020 and 3011.

  • Familiar with configuration and initialization of test bed/lab tactical systems, test tools and communications systems, and system operation during test execution.

  • Experience performing tactical data link interoperability test planning, test execution, post-test analysis and test reporting activities.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Experience evaluating air and missile defense system tactical data link implementation capabilities and configuring and operating tactical data link standards conformance test tools such as IES and/or NSITE is desired.

  • CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network +, and/or CCNA certification and experience with military radars and/or sensor simulations is also desired.
