Parenting with Love and Limits (PLL) is being offered in the community. PLL training and consultation will be provided as part of your hiring process through the Centers of Excellence (COE). PLL is an evidenced based model that has been utilized in Region 7 for over a decade. As the PLL clinical lead, you will comply with PLL fidelity, coordinate cohorts with families and facilitate group and family sessions. This is a great employment opportunity to be part of a new community based service.
The Parenting with Love and Limits Therapist is a highly rewarding position that works a very flexible schedule, while providing after-hours class sessions and in home coaching sessions for families. Parenting with Love and Limits (PLL) is an evidence-based treatment model for adolescents, combining parenting management group therapy, family therapy, and coaching, into one system of care to quickly engage parents and their teenagers. It is a therapy model with well-defined guidelines and ongoing supervision, with emphasis being placed on engaging families quickly and giving them tools and skills to create new structure within the family system to help create lasting change.
This is a highly rewarding position that positively changes the lives of teens and their families in our community. This position is unique to Children\'s Mental Health as the Therapist provides direct service to the family by providing after-hours group sessions and with each family separately in their homes. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working with family systems, quickly engaging families, building trust, and helping implement lasting changes.
