Job Title: Manual Machinist
Pay: $25 to $32 an hour
Shift: Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and Half days on Saturday

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machines including Horizontal Boring Mill, Vertical Lathe, drill presses, and more. This role involves working with tight tolerances, reverse engineering parts, and handling heavy industrial repairs for large equipment. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to work with different types of metals and machines.
Responsibilities
Operate Horizontal Boring Mill, Vertical Lathe, drill presses, and other machines.
Work from various blueprints to build parts for large industrial equipment.
Perform heavy industrial repairs in a job shop environment, often involving reverse engineering parts.
Work with extremely tight tolerances depending on the part.
Handle different types of metals including Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, Brass, etc.
Run up to 7 different machines as needed.
Potentially perform field repairs onsite after gaining experience.
Essential Skills
5+ years of Manual Machining experience, including Horizontal Boring Mill, Vertical Lathe, and Grinders.
5+ years operating a manual lathe in a job shop environment.
5+ years of heavy industrial machining experience, including Vertical Mill, Boring Mill, drills, machined parts, and reverse engineering.
Ability to work with tight tolerances.

Work Environment
This position is based in a small job shop facility. Normal work hours are from 6 AM to 4 PM, five days a week, with 10-hour days plus a half day on Saturdays. The manager is flexible with communication, and employees need to be able to work overtime as required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
