Working for a large global organization you\'ll have an opportunity to grow and build a great dynamic and rewarding career.You will be responsible for participating in all aspects of production processes including but not limited to loading raw materials, operating manufacturing lines, inspecting lenses, performing lot changes, improving yields, using calibrated measurement equipment, troubleshooting and using support equipment. Interact closely with other Production Technicians and Electromechanics to identify, communicate and perform corrective actions for lens inspection/packaging defects as necessary.Typical duties in this role include:Select and load raw materials, operate manufacturing lines and secondary packaging equipment, perform lot changes and cleaning per schedules and coordinate machinery downtime.Troubleshoot equipment faults and enter product and raw materials data into MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and SAP databases.Operate production support equipment and lens inspection equipment as needed.Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments, and conduct maintenance and 5s duties.Ensure the production, inspections and secondary packaging is accomplished per SOP and quality standard, while meeting the production plan.Stages, counts, and verifies product to be packaged on secondary packaging equipment.Perform in-process product quality checks and complete all required documentation throughout the process.Operates the cartoner, performs troubleshooting and clears faults, and performs corrective action when defects are identified.Assist with general upkeep within the secondary packaging and production areas.Perform 5S cleaning procedures and autonomous maintenance as needed.What you\'ll bring to Alcon:High School Diploma or Equivalent.The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.Work hours: 11.5 hour Shifts - 2 week cycle (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)Travel Requirements: NoneRelocation assistance: NoSponsorship available: NoHOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:Join Alcon\'s mission to provide outstanding, innovative products and solutions to improve sight, improve lives, and grow your career!Alcon provides robust benefits package including...
