Sr. Manager - Business Process

Opportunity

The Sr. Manager - Business Process Management is responsible for business transformation via a number of critical deliverables, including but not limited to business architecture framework, enterprise taxonomy, business capability modeling, value stream mapping, dependency management and business process management.

This strategic thinker will work within the Process Excellence function and partner with senior leaders across the enterprise to simplify our process landscape in order to deliver value and enable growth.

This position will be a senior individual contributor but will have high impact and will lead significant initiatives and teams. There is potential for this role to formally manage process analysts and other process capability roles as the organization evolves.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the business process architecture framework and associated tools

  • Define business process capability and its measures of excellence

  • Utilize the business process architecture to simplify the Kohler business process landscape, identify areas for opportunity, and transform our ways of working

  • Drive significant business value through the codification, modeling, governance, and ongoing evaluation of business processes

  • Facilitate complex process modeling in order to align stakeholders, connect outcomes with efficient and effective processes, and take the fear out of process

  • Provide ongoing education, leadership, and coaching for business process evaluation and capability

  • Work with functional leaders, GPOs, business leaders, to clarify and improve process

  • Partner with IT Enterprise Architecture to align capabilities across people, process and technology

  • Serve as liaison to broker complex or sensitive stakeholder relationships

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure global alignment of priorities working in a matrixed environment

Skills/Requirements

  • BS degree in Business Administration, IT, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, or related fields.

  • Minimum 5 years of process and/or project work experience in a complex, global organization.10+ years in general business environment

  • Significant experience with business process modeling, enterprise architecture, and associated tools

  • Formal experience in continuous improvement, six sigma, lean, APQC process manager certification

  • Ability to visualize growth and build high-level models for future analysis and maturing the current business architecture

  • Ability to partner with stakeholders to document and communicate values generated from the new capabilities and processes

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills

  • Ability to translate complex subjects into actionable recommendations.

  • Program/project management skills and the ability to set clear goals to get desired results

  • Stakeholder management experience with ability to influence and persuade key stakeholder and to constructively deal with conflicts.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed global environment.

  • Demonstrated experience of executing process transformation initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $128,000 - $164,550. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
