What you’ll be doing

  • Lead interaction with business and clients alike to capture requirements from new business, product/solution and engineering opportunities.

  • Creatively align with the business Technology and Product roadmaps, creating innovative inputs and deliverables, relevant and ground-breaking.

  • Develop technology into products and capabilities, creating High- and Low-Level Designs.

  • Create re-use strategies or define new to efficiently drive the C2M and L2C journeys.

  • Vendor/Supplier evaluations from a technology perspective

  • Creating and/or delivering/managing certification plans

  • May directly manage a small team or individual

Skills you’ll have

  • Cisco/security/cloud qualified to a medium/high level, CCIE/CCNP AWS SOLA, RHEL etc

  • Complex Solution Design acumen

  • Design engineering principles & processes

  • DevOps activities for deployment/automation

  • Platform OSS/NMS development, API development etc

  • Prioritisation of tasks based on business priorities.

  • High self-management across multiple work streams and dependencies

  • Apply Blue-sky thinking and ideation

  • Ideation and feasibility assessments

Experience you’ll have

  • Proven expertise in designing new products and services and orchestrating significant change to existing ones.

  • Solid senior stakeholder management with the ability to communicate in a simplified way any business and operational risks involved in new and emerging technology and its adoption into an eco-system.

Flexible Working – BT have moved to a hybrid working – you can work from home 2 days per week. This means you’ll be at your contractual location 3 days a week.
