Core Responsibilities
Lead a team of product managers, support their development, lead performance, and build the right culture to empower them and provide them with psychological safety to fail and learn
Mentor product managers, so they can confidently lead product teams through the discovery, development, and launch of innovative products and features that provide real value to end users and our business
Synthesise business strategy, customer needs, market analysis to develop product vision and strategy that inspires partners, improves the product portfolio and delights end users
Be a driving force in our digital transformation - align with key team members on ways of working, roles and responsibilities. Build consensus on strategies and priorities
Play an active part in our product leadership team to build the overall product organisation, including capability building, removing roadblocks and ensure we have fun!
Above all, deliver strong and compelling market-leading products that take advantage of the unique LEGO brand, product range and deep user focus.

This role will sit in the Product organisation in our outstanding Digital Consumer Engagement department, whose responsibility covers a wide variety of digital products across our kids and adult experiences. Our portfolio covers contact management, self-service, order management and more.
The Product Director reports to the Head of Product within the product organisation, making sure that product and portfolio reflects the strategy and needs of the audience. As a hands-on transformative leader, you find the balance between rolling your sleeves up to work with your teams and looking at the bigger picture to implement growth and development, always driven by data and end-user experience.
Do you have what it takes?
Experience
Experience with digital products for consumer contact centres
Demonstrable experience as a leader within Product where you have directly led teams through product discovery, launch and ongoing performance improvement
Proven track record in building and leading hard-working product teams, inspiring and empowering them to work towards common goals
Experience in ground-breaking work, including defining and improving ways of working between your team and collaborators
Experience with Sales Force is a plus
Key functional skills
A great communicator and ability to clearly articulate the problem and proposed solutions
A strong networker with great stakeholder management skills
Strong collaboration skills with other functions such as tech, design and business
An enthusiastic self-starter who can lead activities autonomously, with the ability to toggle between attending to detail and steering company strategy
Technically curious, with a good understanding of software development practices and web/mobile technologies
