Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Generalist in Los Angeles, California

Description

Our wellness center, committed to promoting holistic health practices and providing enriching experiences to our patrons, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HR practices and principles including onboarding, benefits administration, employment investigations, and human resource management systems, preferably Paycom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking a lead role in new employee onboarding, ensuring seamless and positive initiation experience.

  • Administering employee benefits, providing necessary guidance and resolving issues as required.

  • Conducting thorough and impartial employment investigations to uphold a healthy workspace.

  • Coordinating HR related tasks and functions, ensuring smooth and effective operations.

  • Managing and maintaining the HR Information System (HRIS), especially Paycom, ensuring efficient data management and reporting.

  • Creating and pulling business-critical reports from Paycom to aid management decision making.

  • Promoting positive employee relations and addressing any issues or conflicts appropriately and timely.

  • Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements and advising management on needed actions.

  • Assisting in multiple HR projects, such as policy review and documentation.

  • Collaborating with related departments as necessary to optimize HR functions.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant discipline.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources roles.

  • Experience using HRIS and proficiency in Paycom is highly desirable.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Solid understanding of State and Federal Employment Laws.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
