We’re looking for a highly motivated full-time Recruitment Sourcer. In this role you will engage in recruitment and selection activity across our West business. In addition to direct sourcing for roles you will shortlist candidates, speak to candidates ahead of interview, strategically network, engage in direct contact with passive candidates, and sell passive job opportunities[1] .
As part of the established recruiting team, you will support the recruitment partners in finding candidates who fit our business needs. This role has responsibility for supporting vacancies across the West People & Places Solutions business, with disciplines in: Aviation, Environmental, Energy Transformation, Built Environment, Water, Transportation, and Rail.
The key responsibilities as a Sourcer will be:
• Screening of applications
• Directly source team members for hard-to-fill roles
• Shortlist applicants ready for managers to review & interview.
• Working with Talent Acquisition Partners to schedule interviews and negotiating and closing offers.
• Relationship strengthening from a passive list of business connections
• You’ll communicate with senior recruiters and hiring managers regularly, understanding what quality looks like and forming partnerships that result in hiring results!

Demonstrated experience sourcing in the AEC industry and industry knowledge
Transportation or Water market experience highly preferred
You will have demonstrated track record of screening, finding, and assessing talent, to identify the candidate’s suitability and if they have the character to be able to deliver.
You’ll bring your enthusiasm for learning, and passion for positive candidate and hiring manager experiences, and we’ll help grow what guides you - as we work together to bring the best talent to Jacobs!
Ideally, you will also have:
• Experience and passion for a dynamic changeable role
• You’ll have thorough evidence of successfully using direct recruitment methods, digital tools and meaningful social media sourcing expertise
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with candidates by telephone, email, and digital channels in a positive and engaging way
• Proactive, positive approach to using systems and technology
• The knowledge of the legal aspects of recruitment
