We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accountant for industry-leading client in the Louisville, KY market. The Financial Reporting Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by reconciling and validating account balances.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting processes.
Streamline reporting procedures and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA certification is a plus.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and establish positive working relationships.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
