Robert Half Accounting Manager in Loveland, Colorado

Description Offered through Robert Half and available for immediate hire, utilize your accounting skills as an Accounting Manager for a progressive company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Located in the Loveland, Colorado area, this Accounting Manager position would be on a permanent basis.

How you will make an impact

  • Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

  • Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

  • Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

  • Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

  • Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

  • Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

  • General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

  • Month-end Close Activities experience

  • Fixed assets experience

  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Well-founded grasp of Accrual Accounting

  • Foundational knowledge in Lease Accounting

  • Practical knowledge of Sage Intacct

  • Proven knowledge of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

  • Credit Cards experience highly desired

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Reliable technology and analytical abilities

  • Recent relevant financial experience

  • CPA or MBA preferred

  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

  • Customer service oriented communication skills
