Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Marine Equipment Warranty Technician This role involves a high level of organization and attention to detail, with a focus on processing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role is also responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action as required in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Work independently
Review and understand existing warranty contracts and terms
Provide warranty support to all channel partners, consumers, and internal customers
Vet and process Warranty claims against warranty contracts in a timely manner
Record detailed records of all RMA’s processed into the SalesForce CRM
Execute rational judgment on when to escalate questions and concerns to senior team members
Collaborate with Customer Service, Engineering, Field service, Product Management, Quality, or Tech Support as needed
Correspond with Returns receiving team on associated Warranty claims
Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience in a contact center or similar relevant experience
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Quality and/or Lean Six Sigma exposure/experience preferred/ continuous improvement mindset required
Process and goal orientated
Demonstrated history of independent work
Marine or RV industry experience highly weighted
Experience with ERP database tools (preferably Oracle) desired
Experience with CRM database tools (preferably Salesforce) desired
Skill Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a large team
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
