Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This hands-on opportunity requires establishing maintenance policies and procedures, scheduling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machinery, and supervising maintenance staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, proficiency with preventive maintenance software, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Establish maintenance policies and procedures.
Schedule regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns using MaintainX.
Diagnose and repair machinery and equipment, with a focus on vacuum coating machines.
Perform electrical/electronic troubleshooting up to 220v, 3-phase.
Identify and resolve HVAC issues, specifically refrigeration.
Prepare maintenance reports and document actions, irregularities, and continuing needs through preventive maintenance software.
Operate CNC machines, making jigs for parts to go into machines.
Perform fabrication and welding tasks.
Supervise a team of maintenance staff, including one technician and one building/janitorial employee.
Spend 30% of the time on desk/administrative work and 70% hands-on working with machinery.
Essential Skills
3+ years of maintenance leadership/supervisory experience.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Knowledge and familiarity with vacuum pumps and technology.
Experience with a preventive maintenance program, such as MaintainX.
Strong mechanical aptitude for accurately assessing, diagnosing, and resolving equipment issues with a sense of urgency.
Strong electrical aptitude to diagnose and repair electrical issues (220v, 3-phase).
Motivated self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical and Electrical aptitude.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
PLC troubleshooting skills.
Experience with CNC mills and CAD/CAM.
Welding experience.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
